KRI Services
Kato Roofing, Inc. is a licensed bonded and insured roofer that does it all. We start by providing a free roof analysis that includes a detailed report of what needs to be done along with the estimated costs. All complete roofing systems come with our standard KRI warranty and optional manufacturer's warranty.
New Construction:
The roof is one of the most important features of the entire structure. Our skilled roofing professionals have the training and experience to analyze the plans for any size facility and make recommendations as to the best roofing system to meet performance specifications along with environmental, budgetary and aesthetic requirements. We can then complete the project with a top-quality installation that will reliably protect your building, its contents and the people who use it.
Maintenance and Repair:
Leaks can occur with any type of roofing system, and often, minor repairs are all that's needed to extend the life of your roof and avoid the expense of total replacement. KRI will never recommend more work than is necessary to keep your roof functioning efficiently and effectively. Our skilled maintenance team can identify the source of any leakage and perform lasting repairs on virtually every type of roofing.
Re-Roof:
Years of experience make KRI an expert in the field of roof replacement. After inspecting your roof, we will clearly explain any problems that indicate the need for total replacement and advise you of new options that may be available. We commonly remove and reinstall roofs with little or no disruption to daily operations.
Preventive Maintenance Program:
Roof age and exposure to the elements ultimately leads to deterioration and failure of the roof system to function correctly. KRI's Preventive Maintenance Program will:
- Maximize your roof's life expectancy.
- Minimize the cost of upkeep. (Typically, a PM program is significantly less expensive than the cost of repairs or replacement resulting from a lack of regular maintenance). We offer inspections in the spring and fall to get your roof ready for upcoming weather changes. Our program also documents and tracks all applicable warranties, ensuring covered repairs and/or materials do not become out-of-pocket expenses.
- Help you plan for eventual roof replacement. KRI's PM program can eliminate unwelcome surprises. We provide pictures of problem areas in need of repair, overall condition ratings on a scale from 1 to 10, estimates on remaining life expectancy and a plan/timeline for replacement.
KRI is dedicated to customer satisfaction, and our Preventive Maintenance Program is designed to meet and exceed the expectations of every customer, regardless of the number or size of structures owned.
Following is a list of services we provide under our PM program that are typically NOT covered by manufacturer's warranty:
1. Inspect all corners and transitions for damage caused by structural movement.
2. Inspect all terminations at wall and units. (i.e. caulking)
3. Inspect roof drains and/or scuppers for blockages.
4. Inspect all walls for bridging and delaminating.
5. Inspect for roof debris. (sticks, leaves, broken glass, objects left by others, etc.)
6. Inspect for proper ballast cover. (if applicable)
7. Inspect all primary and overflow scuppers for ice damage.
Our Preventive Maintenance Program can be specifically tailored to fit your roofing needs.
Architectural Sheet Metal:
KRI's architectural sheet metal department is a fully equipped fabrication shop. We pride ourselves on our expert installers and skilled craftsmen. All of our sheet metal work is done in-house, and we offer a variety of metal gauges and profiles to meet your design, aesthetic and architectural criteria. We specialize in copper, pre-finished steel, aluminum, composite wall panel systems, fascia, gutter and downspouts. Trust KRI for custom fabrication as well. With over 15 years of metalworking design and installation, we can provide the components and finished appearance you want.
Commercial Roof Snow Removal:
KRI has a professional maintenance team that understands what is needed to preserve the integrity of your roof. Heavy loading caused by snow accumulation can lead to leaks, structural damage and even collapse. KRI has the equipment and personnel to safely and efficiently clear your roof of snow. Taking proper steps at the right time is essential to prolonging the life of your roof.
